Through our Indigenous Engagement Strategy, we are committed to creating and extending opportunities for Indigenous peoples. We acknowledge and accept the fact that the prosperity of local Indigenous communities depends upon sustainable growth in Indigenous employment and enterprises. Various cleaning contracts provide opportunities to achieve Indigenous participation outcomes in terms of employment, training, and enterprise development.

Broadlex is fully committed to increasing Indigenous employment and extending its full range of induction, training, and development opportunities to Indigenous peoples. Broadlex adopts a continuous improvement framework in the development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of Indigenous employment initiatives.
Broadlex has the following key Indigenous objectives:
- Increasing Indigenous engagement though consultation with employment providers specialising in the Indigenous sector.
- Improving Indigenous retention by actively improving cultural awareness throughout the organisation.
- Increasing Indigenous supplier levels via engagement with Supply Nation and attendance at Indigenous supplier, educational, and cultural events.
- The overall success of our objectives is monitored and reviewed by an Indigenous Steering Committee supported by focused senior management commitment.
Ultimately, Broadlex aims to be an employer of choice within the greater Indigenous community.
